why does this evoque and every new evoque i see have two satellite radio antennas? seems kinda weird and pointless too me, unless it’s those people who want to show off what they would consider their wealth. “hey guys!!! look at me!!!! i have so much money that i can afford a land rover AND an extra radio antenna!”

It’s got a WiFI hotspot capability. Not sure if the second antenna is part of that, but it might be.

could be, but unlikely. all the chevy cars (most of them) have wifi capability now and don't feature a second antenna as do many cars in audis lineup. doesn't completely rule it out tho

A new tailgate spoiler and high-level LED stoplight creates additional visual differentiation at the rear of the vehicle, and a noticeably sleeker appearance. Cleanly integrated within the rear spoiler, the longer, slimmer brake light perfectly complements the new spoiler design. Additionally, new roof fins added for vehicles specified with Wi-Fi hotspot

Seems like it has three systems: radio, satellite, and cellular. Easy to imagine that two out of those three could need special antennas.
